As I sat on the office couch,
Writing a poem about time passing quickly
And my son getting older
And being a bit sad and wistful,
And wanting more time and less aging,
He came into the room.
Do you want to play?
Not now, I'm writing.
The irony wasn't lost on me,
But I continued.
And he left.
